We’ve made the decision that CCDA cannot hold our annual 2020 ECCO Conference in Oakhurst as planned. It has become clear that it just won’t be possible – or, more importantly, safe – to gather our community together the way we had so hoped to do. ECCO is something we all look forward to every year. We are sincerely disappointed to miss our annual gathering of learning, sharing and fellowship.
We are currently working with your amazing board to develop a virtual experience in place of ECCO this summer. Most likely, we will ask national leaders in online education to present on the current state of our challenges and related successes they’ve recognized throughout the world. We hope this event will provide inspiration to you and give you many ideas for moving ahead in spite of our circumstances.
Please remain connected with us during this difficult time. We will continue to offer our Tuesday webinars as part the CASMEC family, converse with you via our online platforms, and will reach out directly in Cantate. We will also be in touch about CCDA’s programs for the next academic year as they become clearer in the weeks ahead. Your board is dedicated to serving you through this crisis, and helping us all emerge stronger than before. Be well.
